Ever-changing Journalism
I can honestly say professors do a wonderful job of highlighting the current crisis both current and budding journalists face. I have to admit, I was pretty taken back by the whole idea in the beginning but now I realize it’s my chance to create new opportunities.
I understand that I am in a better place than the 20 or 30 year Chicago Tribune or Suntimes reporter right now. More of them are set in their ways, while I am completely willing to adapt to the situation - like most students. I feel extremely grateful for the online opportunities that Columbia offers. This class will prove to invaluable in the future.
